Quincy Named Second Safest City In Massachusetts

In November od 2006 the City of Quincy was rated 2nd in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and 76th nationally in a recent study of America's safest cities. Newton, MA was ranked number 1 in Massachusetts and number 4 in the Nation. 

Quincy moved up 19 spots nationally and is now ranked number 76 in the entire nation.

These statistics are determined by the FBI crime figures throughout the country.

Hi Dana,

Nice to see you here on Active Rain - was surprised to see Quincy rated so high - but I have been out of the area since 1983 - so many things have changed in Quincy.  Can see the changes by your listings that you have posted here.

I still follow the Celtics and Patriots though. :)
