How to add a signature to your Droid email & texting

To add a signature to your Droid email:

Click your email icon.

Then Menu,

More,

Account Settings

Add Signature

Done

Now this signature will appear after all your emails.

To add a signature to your Droid texting:

Click Menu,

Then Settings,

Scroll down to Language & keyboard

Samsung keypad

XT9 advanced settings

Scroll down to XT9 auto-substitution

Click Menu

Add

Type in your shortcut (I use my initials – use 2 letters not commonly typed together)

Type in your ‘Signature’ in the Substitution space.

Done

Now after you type a text, click your ‘initials’ and your whole signature will be pasted in.

Thanks. The same 'concept' of creating a Text Signature via auto substitution can be applied to any phone. I did the same thing when I had a Blackberry.
