Downtown Melbourne: Free! Music and family-friendly fun to ring in the New Year! Downtown Melbourne will be hosting a New Year’s Eve street party featuring headlining band Nappy Roots, along with The Crazy Carls, Britt Daley, Kaleigh Baker, Shutup And Dance, and Lilly and the Tigers. The party will start at 6pm, and entertainment will take place on two separate stages. Great night to dine in one of Downtown Melbourne’s fantastic restaurants, then enjoy the music and festivities until midnight!
Cocoa Village: Enjoy a full weekend of festivities at TropStock in Historic Cocoa Village. The party starts at 7pm on Friday, December 30th, and 8pm on Saturday, December 31st. Cocoa Beach Pier: 23rd Annual “Rockin’ The Dock” New Year’s Eve party is “5 parties in one”, all on the Cocoa Beach Pier. Each of the Pier’s restaurants and bars will feature live entertainment, champagne toasts, balloon drops, confetti canons and more. Sandbar Sports Grill, Cocoa Beach: Reggae New Year with musical guest New World Beat, starting at 9pm.
Grills Riverside, Melbourne: Live music all day! Johnny Danger starts at 2pm, the Even Odds plays at 7:30pm.
Squid Lips, Melbourne: New Year’s Eve party celebration with Chester, live! Party starts at 7pm.
Captain Hiram’s, Sebastian: Live music by Bullet Theory, along with a special New Year’s Eve chef’s menu, drink specials, party favors, and midnight balloon drop with prizes. Activities start at 8:30pm.

Hilton Melbourne Beach: Radio station WA1A will help ring in the New Year at the Hilton Melbourne Beach Oceanfront with their New Year’s Eve Bash. This oceanfront party includes multiple dance floors and entertainment, cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, gourmet chef-attended food stations, and more. Other Fun New Year’s Eve Events:
Brevard Zoo: New Year’s Eve Twilight Spectacular Overnight – December 31. For ages 7 – 12 years, campers spend the night and ring in the New Year with their animal friends at the Brevard Zoo. Cost is $55 for zoo members, $65 for non-members.
BYOB Dance: Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Melbourne Beach is hosting a New Year’s Eve dance from 8:30pm – 1pm. Dance to the music of “Phil and Chris”; tickets are $15. The event is BYOB and you are asked to bring a dish to share. Call 321-722-3664 for tickets.
New Year’s Eve Midnight Run: Ring in the New Year with a 5K run in Melbourne Beach! Start running in 2011 and finish in 2012! Join the Space Coast Runners at 11:45pm at the 7-11 on A1A in Melbourne Beach. There is no entry fee for the 5K race, which runs on the paved bike path parallel to A1A.
