This is an exciting time of year! We stand at the end of one year and prepare to greet the New Year, anticipating all of surprises, joys, and new developments in store.
My wife Jennifer and I have begun our 2012 Purpose and Plan, working together to create a road map for the next year. Examining our personal lives and my real estate career in 2011 reveals that we have spent a lot of time busily pursuing, but not always purposefully achieving, the family and business goals we had set. The dawn of the new year is therefore the perfect time to renew our focus and re-energize our efforts, beginning with the prayer: “O Lord, bless our labor, for without Thee we can do nothing.”

So if Jennifer and I have a New Years resolution, it's to maintain a way of life that is peaceful, sustainable, and productive; a way of life that cares for the true needs of ourselves and others, and never distracts us from our true purpose as God's children.
