I got the initial call. My local Board of Realtors Real Estate counsel recommended me to first time buyers. I have a short sale that would make a perfect first time buyer investment too. However these folks wanted another area. After much dialog, I decided that these buyers will need some TLC and told them I would be referring a top notch agent to them for that area.
A PAL OF MINE
I had someone in mind too. I meet a lot of people in general through out my week and have run into some exceptional Real Estate agents. Just like on ActiveRain, you get to know people and their strengths. I contacted my agent friend for that area, briefed her and off she went.
OFFER GENERATED
I get an email just a quick few days later from my agent pal telling me an offer was written up and submitted. Now that's what I wanted to hear. Things moving forward and every one doing what they are supposed to do.

So who gets pleased here? The people who referred to me are protected and thanked. Then, my quality time spent with these lovely buyers and turning them over to the area pro my pal. Then that pro goes to work proving allowing the system to generate results.
