In reviewing my blog posts for the past year, I was impressed to see which posts got the most comments.
Comments seem to come with posts that are very instructive or very controversial. And I don't write posts to be controversial, and certainly when I write about home inspection issues. Sometimes, though, they turn out to be!
So here they are, from the one with the most comments to the fifth. The fifth was a tie between two:
289 comments - "I'm Being Reported"
218 comments - "Am I Sensing A Disturbing Trend?"
215 comments - "Oh, They Didn't Need You. The County Did The Inspection"
208 comments - "A Very Sad And Dangerous Inspection"
141 comments - "What You See Outside Often Translates Inside"
141 comments - "The Fabled Tankless Water Heater"
As to the most shameless, Capitalist Pig post of the year, it has to go to Billy Jays with this post:
"Wet Yer Whistle" - the very fact that he was trying to take advantage of a very serious scientific post I found to be unconscionable. And you should know that the very serious scientific post was published on April Fool's Day, but that was pure coincidence.
My free enterprise blog that got the most attention nationwide in this and another venue:
"Widows And Orphans" You mean that's who owns corporations and gets most of the corporate profits?
All in all, it was a very good year for blogging for me. My blogs were titled such that they got me very good Google juice. I expect that since Google liked them, so did the other search engines. A couple of my posts just this past week have made page one already, so obviously Active Rain gets attention.
And so do our blogs!
I know blogging works because of so many phone calls from people who have read them and desire a home inspection.
