Newspapers VS. Internet

We are currently finding that the internet is the way to go for advertising. We have the ability to include multiple photos of our listed homes plus the ability to expand our descriptions to peak the buyer's interest.

The biggest problem we're having today is convincing the sellers that they don't need all that expensive print media advertising to get buyers. They feel that if you don't advertise in print that's why their house is not selling.

We as Realtors know that internet advertising and a website is the best way to get calls. What techniques have you found to convince the sellers?

John,  Print media stats are way down, internet stats way up and climbing.  You need to do both tp please the customer.

Bill, I do both but my clients only feel that print media is all that counts. I am having a rough time convincing them that the internet should be the bulk of the advertising. If they had it there way it would cost a fortune to advertise!
