2011 December Blogging Challenge ~ One last day in the year to get down to some business.
31 days of posting is coming to an end. One of my New Years Resolutions is to keep up the momentum and not crash and burn like a kid on a sugar high. In the past, participation in the marathon contests has been replaced by a long period of lethargy and lack of posting. NOT THIS TIME.
Active Rain is very good for business. It may not be directly from a potential client who has picked the phone up because they are reading what I have to say, but usually the benefits come in other ways.
Relationships : From coast to coast I have new friends thanks to Active Rain.
Referrals : I have been very fortunate to generate income from incoming and outgoing referrals within Active Rain. I am currently optimistic that a short sale approval is just a week away on a referral from Martha Brown in Annapolis.
Education : Many of the techniques that I employ in my business have been used and then shared by other members on their blogs. There are many very intelligent people who roam the halls of Active Rain
Personal Growth : My awareness of the area that I live and work in has escalated over the past few years as I constantly seek for interesting content. I always carry a camera with me ~ something that many AR members also do.
As this year comes to an end I raise a glass to Active Rain. CHEERS.
