Midlands Business Journal named Leslie Delperdang as a 40 Under 40 Award winner. Delperdang was honored at a breakfast on Friday, November 9th.
Below is the article from the Midlands Business Journal.
Over the last year, NP Dodge Chief Financial Officer and Vice President Leslie Delperdang helped with the financing and development of two $13 million building projects.
Delperdang negotiated the terms of the construction loans and permanent financing for the two office buildings and computed income and rate of return projections for both. She gave input of the design of one building, helped select a firm for a cost segregation study and signed a beam that will be in the Class A office building forever.
In 1996, Delperdang began her career with NP Dodge as an assistant controller. She was named vice president and treasurer in 1997 and CFO in 2005.
Delperdang has been a financial advisor to each of her firm's presidents and vice presidents, helping ensure financial stability and growth for all NP Dodge companies. She has helped managers understand their monthly income statements and identify where they can grow revenue or cut costs.
Recently, Delperdang--who was featured this year in "Financial Executive," a national magazine--assisted in the establishment of a procurement position to leverage the purchasing power of all of its divisions. With the new position, the firm has recognized savings by consolidating service and supply needs.
Delperdang is involved with Girls Inc. of Omaha, the Rose Theater Guild, Voices for Children and St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. She earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Northern Iowa, passed both the CPA and CMA exams in 1992 and earned the Elijah Watt Sells Award based on her CPA exam scores.
