You do not have to be the #1 agent in your market to be successful, you just have to be the #1 agent in the hearts of your clients.  This business is about touching hearts and lives and helping people to make a great decision about their perfect enviornment which affects almost everything in their lives.  So in 2012 it is important that we focus on being the best we can be and that does not always mean selling a lot of houses, it means touching a lot of people in a way that will change their lives for the better and reaching out to help them and the community in a way that enhances the lives of everyone.

So as we embark on this new journey in 2012, remember that everyone you touch and everything you say can be something that makes a positive difference in a life, you chose.  This is not about competing, it is about cooperation and about contribution.  What will your contribution be to your community and to your clients for 2012.  I want my clients to have the best year ever in their decisions about where they live!!!  That is my commitment, what is yours???

very well said Ted, service and success are two different things.  The one with the most sales doesnt win if they are so removed during the process the client never gets the time deserved.
