Free Day at the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum
I’m sure many of you have been snuggling up in a quilt throughout this season already, but if you are looking for a perfect one for your home or are mystified by the quilt concept in general, it is time to go to the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum. As luck would have it, there is a free day on January 17th!
Everyone loves something free and this Museum is a wonderful venue to explore. Located in downtown Golden, the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum features quilts from the world over, with modern designs to those dating back to the 1800’s. The Free Day corresponds with "Stars! A Study of 19th Century Star Quilts" by the American Quilt Study Group and "Out of This World: Contemporary Star Quilts". View quilts of all shapes, sizes, and styles that feature stars. From the traditional to the fantastic, the Free Day at the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum will be awash in amazing cloth craftsmanship. This exhibit will be at the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum through January 21st. If you can not make the free day, check their website for entry fees.
