Vacant property staged and ready

One more time staging shows how a vacant property can be transformed. The house is in southeast Houston in an older established neighborhood. The first thing needed was help from a landscaper colleague of mine. Curb appeal was added by removing all the old overgrown plants and replacing them with flowers, shrubs, palm trees, mulch and a flagstone border.

Next I transformed the vacant inside for a contemporary look in the living room and dining room.

I also staged the master bedroom.

The large family room now has a cozy comfortable style.

Hi Jaki - looks great. Nothing is worse to me then having to photograph an empty house. Pulling the shrubs was a good move.

Gosh Jaki what a difference staging makes isn't it.  Lovely work.  Best of luck in 2012!

Andre Thanks for the comment. When I first met with my client a condition of staging the inside was to clean up the lanscape or not stage the house at all.

Thanks Wendy I'm sure this will be a great year.

What a night/day difference with that exterior. Wow!  Like the others have said, removing the shrubs truly made a difference.

Curb appeal is so important for a good first impression. When I was there staging the house I had one of the neighbors come over and complement on how good the yard looked. I'm anxiously awaiting to hear the feedback from my client when he shows the house.

Hi Jacki--it almost doesn't look like the same house from the street.  Nice work.  Good staging makes all the difference in the world.

What a difference with the overgrown bushes replaced by the much smaller ones - much more inviting to buyers.  Nice job Jacki!
