The region's market recovery is being aided by numerous factors. Northern California has long been known for it's vast recreational resources. Recent unemployment rates have dropped for 3 consecutive months to the lowest levels since 2008. Local government and the Shasta Economic Development Corporation have developed forward thinking policies to attract new business to the region. These efforts have attracted an emerging high tech element to the area.

I like that sentence that begins, "The region's market recovery...." Those dastardly experts have been talking doom and gloom down here for several years, but since February 2009, we've been increasing or holding steady for the most part. And with the economy and public confidence increase down here, and unemployment numbers falling, it just keeps looking better and better.

Jim,

I agree completely; I was meeting with a fellow agent today. She said she doesn't watch the news anymore. She thought if people took sometime to just judge their own condition they would be far happier. SC
