This is just a reminder that tomorrow is the day to celebrate our Veterans, as we do every November. You might want to check before running out for errands tomorrow as many banks, post offices, and other state, county, federal, and municipal government offices will close for the holiday. In some areas, trash collection will also fall back a day in honor of the holiday.
If you are off from work tomorrow and looking for something to do, there will be a Veterans Day parade tomorrow starting at 9:00 am. It will begin downtown on Clinton. So if you are looking for something to do, you should drop by for a little while. Be sure to get downtown early as many streets will be blocked off for the event.
Above all else, please take a moment to remember all those that are away from their families and friends protecting our country on this holiday. Remember all those that have served in the military of this country in any capacity through the years, even if only ordering supplies for the soldiers. All have done their parts to help protect the freedom and liberties that so many take for granted. If you know any veterans, take the time to say thank you and honor them in any way you can.
