Three Kings Celebration

When I was in high school, I studied advanced Spanish language, which included some bits of culture. The Three Kings Celebration is very similar to Christmas in the Latin culture, very interesting! I love the letters that the children write, I always remember that they start with "Queridos Reyes." I would love to check this out, I encourage everyone to do the same!

Bond Park is having a Three Kings Celebration on January 7th at 2 pm.  This is a very important day in the Latin culture.  There will be a parade of people dressed n the traditional attire of the Three Kings and music to dance to.  Hot chocolate will be served, along with traditional “Rosca de los Reyes” bread and other desserts.  Following the parade will be the gift giving for local children.  Volunteers for the event are going to hand out gifts and groceries to families in need.  This event is free and open to the public as part of Bond Park’s Star of Hope Campaign.
