Life With Wee People: The laundry wars...
My kids love going to Aunt Mona and Uncle John's house. FYI: They made out like bandits for Christmas (silly grin). While we were there Noah got comfy on the couch while Stephen settled down on the carpet. We spend an inordinate amount of time playing on the floor so when the little minions are really comfortable with someone they'll kick off their shoes and act as if they're at home.
While I'm dragging and dropping pictures of my sleepyheads back onto my computer I can't help but notice that it's almost half past 11PM in chilly Florida and my kids are wide awake and wired. I had to pick up my sleeping bag off the floor because they are making it impossible for me to hang out with my sketchbooks and laptop. They keep stealing my crayons and I can't find my black Uniball (LOL). ;-)
I came out just in time to catch Noah starting the laundry wars with Stephen. One minute Shorty is chillin' camped out with his fave toys on the living room floor singing the Thomas the Train theme song and seconds later he's giving me a dead pan look because Noah pulled his pants off and smacked him in the face with them. They're locked in battle in my bedroom flinging the clean laundry at each other (LOL).
Mike is hiding in the den... It's either Star Wars or World of Warcraft for him tonight. I'm thinking it is time for me to read Silver Tongued Devil - Jaye Wells is da bomb (and yeah - we're ignoring the wee people mayhem because the kids are still on vacation and if they keep chasing each other like that they'll eventualy pass out - LOL). ;-)
