Mike, more great pictures! Quick question for you, though. Do you obtain permission for the home owners to photograph their home and put it in your blog? I would like to start profiling neighborhood in my area of Raleigh, but am a little nervous about not getting permission first. Thanks!

Darleen,

My understanding is that the homes are in the public domain, and I am not breaking any law.

That said, if a homeowner contacts me and says, "I would prefer you not post that photo," I would immediately agree to take it down.  And not try to cite my legal rights...

I stay off their property and try to avoid getting people in the photo.

I also suggest you do not shoot homes that are listed in general brokerage by another agent.  They should be glad to have the publicity, but may feel like you are interfering with their listing.

Go for it!

This looks like a really nice neighborhood in Cary.  Nice community pond and pool.
