Hi, Knoxville Weekenders! Welcome back, and welcome to the new year. Have you recuperated from all the festivities? I hope you have, but it seems that many folks have not. So, with not much on tap, we have a short Weekend Fun, Knoxville Style to get the new year started.
Tomorrow evening, that's Friday for you early Weekenders, The Arts & Culture Alliance presents "New Group Exhibition in the Balcony" from 5pm - 9pm. Seven local artists and their work will be featured. The event will continue through January 27, 2012.
For those Weekenders that also enjoy some politics, The League of Women Voters is hosting a Breakfast with State Senators on Saturday (1/7), 10 am at Blount Mansion. Come TN Sens. Campfield and Duncan-Massey, and get a chance to ask them the burning questions on your mind.
Looking for something a little different? Perhaps you want to take a walk on the paranormal side? Then you should sign up for the Haunted Knoxville Ghost Tour on 1/7 from 10 pm - 11:45 pm.
Like I said, it's a lite weekend. But that doesn't mean you can't have some Weekend Fun, Knoxville Style!
