The Titusville Bridge
My husband and I walk the Titusville Bridge in Titusville, Florida every weekend morning. We usually try to get out as the sun is rising. Few people are around and it gives us time to enjoy the beautiful sunrise and landscaping as we exercise.
Every view from the Titusville Bridge is incredible. As the sun rises the wonderful warm colors start to touch the water and the foliage. You think you are looking at a Roccoco painting. My husband has this ability to spot wild animals anywhere. He will turn to me and says: "Did you see that dolphin?" "There's an alligator, see the eyes?"
We start walking the Titusville Bridge on the west side and as we reach the top, the view in front of us is the Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge. People from all over the world come to bird watch. We return facing Titusville and watching the surrounding water where the boaters are starting their day. Their noise somewhat disturbs the morning, but not enough to distract from the scenery.
Once we finish our walk, we head over to Sunrise Bakery to grab some coffees and muffins. We sit at one of their tables as we watch people from Titusville stroll in smelling the aroma of coffee. Some stay and visit, others rush off to start their day.
If you have some free time and want to do something different, you should try walking the Titusville Bridge in Titusville, Florida.
