Luxury Home Sales - December 2011 - Denver Colorado
Sales of luxury homes in the Denver metro area over $1 million increased in December over November by three sales. Inventory of active listings decreased 19% over the inventory from first week of December. (inventory is low all over the Denver metro area in all price ranges.)
In the City of Denver the first week of December showed 26 under contract, and first week of January there are 15 in the luxury market.
Sales of luxury homes in Denver of detached single family homes showed a total of 29 homes of which 1 was a bank owned property, one short sale, four new construction and 23 were regular sales. Of these 29 homes, eight were paid for with CASH, and 21 obtained conventional financing.

The highest sale for December was $3,250,000 in Cherry Creek North in Denver, built in 2009, with 3 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms and a 3 car garage. There was a total of 5,842 finished square feet.
The stats for the last six months shows the luxury market is holding strong in the Denver metro area.
