The skiing really is world class in Vail.

Considering how little snow Vail, and for that matter, many ski resorts around the country have recieved, thanks to great snowmaking, skiing is quite good!  I went up this morning with a Mexican client and we are genuinely tired and had a great day.  Vail snowmaking covers almost 500 acres and Beaver Creek, 800 acres.  While there is nothing like mother nature, with a bit of forthought, a great day or week can be had.  Plus, once off the mountain, every world class option is available to our guests.  thes best news is that a storm is finally due to come in this weekend.  I am happy to give a tour of the mountain to anyone coming to Vail.  For the Realtors, think of Vail for your clientelle.  Referrals can be siginificant and are totally appreciated. Your client will get great care.  For real estate anywhere in the Vail Valley, www.LandinVail.com

Chuck,

All I can say is, if you have never been to Vail, you need to come to get a sense of what we are all about.  We are possibly the number one ski resort globally and as such, our year round business is significant.  I many ways, I like summers better than winter.  The image below is  the brand New Ritz Carlton Residences. The economy hit us pretty hard and there are significant price reductions through out our Valley.

I showed the ritz last evening and they are extremely motivated to move product.  It was developed and owned by Vail Resorts, the operator of our mountain.  there is no debt and this particular Ritz is the crown jewel in all of Vail Resorts holdings.  originally priced in the $1,800 pe sq. ft. range, pricing has come down to the $1,300 per sq. ft. range on average.  The developer is currently offering 4 lifetime season ski passes, 50 private ski lessons and a free membership to the Arrabelle Club located next to the main Gondola.  In my showing, I showed a 4 bedroom residence, about 3,200 sq. ft.  They offered my client a $1,000,000 discount on the spot for a property listed at approx 4.4 million.  I would be happy to chat anytime about this property or anything else for that matter if you wish
