Madison Alabama City Schools Re-Zoning

School Zoning or re-zoning can be quite an emotional roller coaster ride if you have children in school or when you're about to relocate to an area and school districts are important to you.  Madison Alabama City Schools recently came out with new zoning plans and I've been assured that these zones are now set in stone.  Go directly to the Madison City schools web site for more information, you may also call (256) 464-8370.  Another extremely informative web posting is an article titled:  "Madison City Schools approves new zoning plan".  I've provided a map below for current school zoning.  If you live in the Madison Alabama area this map will make more sense to you, but going to the Madison Alabama City School website is much more informative and easier to read.

If you are relocating to Madison Alabama or Huntsville Alabama area a good place to start your search is at my website for all available homes in Northern Alabama.  If your move is a little farther south to Birmingham Alabama then give @Homes Birmingham a try to begin your search.

Nick, school zones charts are always fascinating to me. My favorite is how on opposite sides of the same street, they could be in different school districts....that's annoying. But sometimes we get a choice, like because of my husbands subdivision, sometimes the line can run through a property giving that family a choice, like us.

Nick school re-zoning is always stressful for those that end up changing schools.  It is not something that students, parents, teachers, or school administrators look forward to.  Hope it goes well in Madison.

Nick I never understood why the powers to be do school re-zoning. I understand why politicians do it, to get re-elected by having more favorable voters, but why schools??
