We are just 6 days into 2012 and I have already seen more activity than I seen for almost all of January 2011. I know one week does not make a year, but to start off the year with the activity that I had this week is very encouraging to me.
Here is how this week went:
- I started out the week with a nice loan on a two family property. The Borrower had good income, good credit, and all of their paper work in order.
- The rest of the week I Pre-Approved Five quality Borrowers, and to make that even better four of them were referred to me by Realtors that I had not done business with before.
- I hold a First Time Homebuyer Seminar on the first Thursday of every month. The last few months I have not had anyone register for it, but this month I had a young couple, and one single Buyer. The single Buyer contacted me first thing this morning thanking for all of the information that she got last night, and wanting to be Pre-Approved. I went through the process with her and was able to Pre-Approve her for that amount that she was hoping to be approved for. And I am sure that I will hear from the young couple as well.
This was not just a busy week, but a week that brought good quality Buyers my way. I hope this is a sign of what the rest of the year will be like. January and February tend to not be good months for Real Estate, but I have a feeling that this January and February are going to break that trend.
