Loop 303, Surprise Arizona Construction Updates
As of January, 2012, the Loop 303 Improvement Project is now 20% complete, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT). ADOT began the improvement project here in Surprise last summer, and the project, costing $129 million, is now 20% complete, with work currently occurring in the northbound travel lains between Cactus and Bell. Full completion of the project is scheduled for the fall of 2013.
Due to the massive demands of the project, some local Surprise street impact is necessary to accommodate the various construction phases of the overpasses (one is currently complete, where Greenway road now crosses above the Loop).
