Nixa Mo Real Estate Market Report | December 2011

Nixa Mo is a community South of Springfield Missouri on Highway 160.

Being an easy commute to Springfield, Nixa has prospered over the last 20 years into a thriving and great place to live while still being a short drive to Springfield.

The Nixa Missouri market remained about the same with a few exceptions:  More listings and the average sale price went from $166,866 in 2010 to $152,183 in 2011.


Here is a comparison for 2010 and 2011:

 

  • Number of Residential listings for 2011:  1228Declining market prices in Nixa Missouri
  •  Number of Expired listings:  244
  •   Number of Withdrawn listings:  273
  •  Number of Active listings:  282
  •  Number of Sold listings:  427

 

Let's take a look at 2010:

 

  • Number of listings for 2010:  1089
  •  Number of residential expired listings:  284
  •  Number of Withdrawn listings:  324
  •   Number of Sold listings: 471

Looks like the numbers in Nixa are a bit smaller than they are here in Auburn, WA. We actually bumped up a bit this year as far as sale numbers, although prices are still dropping. Thanks for the update.

Thanks Gabrielle.  Prices in Nixa dropped more than some of the surrounding communities.  I've heard they should stabilize this year.

Kay - It certainly would be nice to see some of those graphic arrows pointing up instead of down all the time ..... it's time for the slippery slide to stop
