Only time will tell...
After reading that Amazon sells one million Kindle books per week - and that Google favors books sold on Amazon over books sold on individual's websites, I decided to put two of my little e-books on Kindle just to see what would happen.
Being a defintely non-techie sort, I did run into a glitch or two. But I THINK I have them straightened out, and these two books are now available.
The next step was to remove them from my e-junkie store and re-write the web pages where they were offered. This turned into a BIG project - but I think I'm finished. And now that I've got the steps figured out, I think the next ones will be easier.
A side benefit of doing this project was learning to use Word 7 a bit better. I had no idea that I could highlight titles and subtitles and that when I added a TOC (table of contents) entry at the top, a table of contents would magically appear. Wow!
Anyway, my first two Kindle books are now available - neither is directly related to real estate, but I had to announce them anyway. The next one will be real-estate related - sort of.
