I enjoyed the way the December Posting Challenge kept many of us in touch with each other and have decided to start posting a recap each week.
During December, I kept including progress reports on Yazmine (my office manager, Siamese and great friend) who has developed severe kidney problems and I have had a number of members asking about her this week.
Yazmine continues to battle and I try my best to take care of her. She is 18 years old and Siamese cats do often have kidney failure. When I took her to the vet just after Thanksgiving she could not even lift up her head. We finally found something that she will eat - deli turkey slices covered with butter. I am also giving her a nutritional supplement. Along with this she has to have subcutaneous injections of Lactated Ringer's Solution. She now is alert and even prowls around the house. Much of the time she is good but there are also times she gets a little shaky and disoriented. I think the many thoughts and prayers of members here in ActiveRain have been really important. We both thank all of you.
I am starting my year off by building my referral and contact base. I know my niche of specializing in Latin America is unusual so I am going to devote a lot of time in telling about it and how it can be helpful to you and your business.
And how here is one of my file photos of Yazmine:
