Cheer on the Coalers

Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Top Properties

Saturday, November 17th the Coal City Coalers football squad (and most of the town) will be heading north to take on the Driscoll Catholic Highlanders of Addison in semi-final action. This marks the 3rd time in 4 years that the Coalers have gone to at least the final four!

Unfortunately, the last time Coal City ventured to the semi-finals they fell to none other than Driscoll.

Driscoll, a private school with the ability to recruit players from outside 'normal' boundaries has won SIX consecutive state championships. The Coalers will have to give it their all and not be intimidated by the "big boys" from up north if they want to play at the University of Illinois in two weeks for a state championship.

Ok, I'm PO'd that you were glad LSU lost to Arkansas.  You don't even live there.  What's up with that?
