Finding The Courage to Change Your Life Relates to All Of Us

I agree change is good (although for me sometimes it is a little difficult) and the courage to do it is very important.  Mostly I like the thought of change and then the actual change results once I have done it. Fear plays a huge part in change for a lot of people I think. I have to agree that change can keep you young.  When my granddaughter came to live with us 5 years ago, it was a huge change for us and one that in most ways kept me younger and in some...well I don't talk to much about that, just a few more white hairs....She now is in Hawaii living with her mother at 18 and I can safely say I miss her a lot.

You are so correct when you say "moving beyond our own status quo" helps to change us.  Not always an easy thing to do especially if one is entrenched in how they do things.  I believe it does take courage to take a leap of faith into the unknown and a lot of courage.  I have been there many times and probably will continue to be there, keeps some excitement around don't you think?

I am in total agreement with you.  When we pay attention to what is happening around us and see the courage that people muster up for all kinds of reasons, it is truly a gift to observe.  I am glad you liked the post, thank you.

Tony you are so right when you say "it is so easy to just go with the flow" and life is very much what we make it one day at a time.  At least for me living this day to its fullest I am able sometimes takes a lot of courage and a lot of understanding.  Not patience because if you practice patience what you will learn is to wait and wait, learning patience.  Understanding is the key.  Have a very great day !

Gayle, I love these shows because it really does show what we can do when we find the courage to do it.  Even American Idol, which is one of my favorites, because frankly I cannot imagine getting up in front of judges let along audiences to sing, it just takes courage in my book. Even last year to see the transformation of James I think his name was with the condition he had and he overcame.  Beautiful.

Laura, I agree this is such an amazing story and what's really true is that there are so many amazing stories out there that we just do not hear about. The courage of everyday people even in the small things is extraordinary.

Liz I too am excited at the possibilities to grow and learn everyday, I think that is why most times I like change.  It does take courage and sometimes for some just getting out of bed in the morning takes courage.  Thank you so much for commenting.
