A Year of Growing Rich: Progress Calls for an Open Mind

"An open mind is a free mind.

If you close your mind to new ideas, concepts and people, you are locking a door that imprisons your own mentality," says Hill.

If a person is prejudiced and intolerant, the real loser is actually that person. A closed mind limits opportunities and creates a negative person.

"Only if you have an open mind can you grasp the full impact of the first rule of the science of success: Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, the mind can achieve. The person blessed with an open mind performs wonderful feats in business, industry and all professions while the fool with a closed mind is still shouting, 'Impossible'," says Hill.

If your mind is closed you become stagnant and any talents that you have will decline. By having a closed mind you will put yourself in a mental prison.

"...it's time to sweep aside the bars and prejudice that imprison your intellect. Open your mind and set it free!" concludes Hill.

Gary, I SO LIKE THIS. I don't know your age, but I'm guessing you're somewhere around mine. I remember growing up with people who were SO CLOSED minded.
