Motivational Power Quote

Live – Learn – and Hope

“Learn from yesterday live for today, hope for tomorrow.”

Aron Ralston, mountain climber

As I see it . . . . . . .

Live – learn – and hope

Our lives are lived in cycles, some that we’re able to control and some that we have very little control over.

Live - learn – and hope resembles the real estate that we have experienced over the last several years and given us valuable lessons and insight for the future.

The last several years the real estate market has seemed to take on a life of its own. It’s been a little bit like the tail wagging the dog.

Our life goes on no matter what direction the real estate market is going in. We can’t control the state real estate market but we have to remain in control of the state of our life and how we personally adjust to the real estate market and business environment.

We can learn from the experience of the last several years and become a more effective business professional who engage in the business real estate.

There is a thin slice of difference between being a real estate professional engaging in business and a business professional engaging in business. But there is a world of difference in the outcomes.

We are first business professionals who engage in the business of real estate.

There is hope for the future of real estate and the business to be done. In moving forward take the experiences of the past and use those experiences to be more effective in the future.

Prepare yourself to grasp the opportunities and to Live – learn – and hope in the conditions that you find yourself in.

Lou, another great uplifting motivational post.  We can't  change the past but we can learn from it and move on and live in the present and plan for the future.

Good morning Lou,

Great quote and advice, and the first step on the jouney is learning from yesterday.  Wonderful way to start the day - thank you!

Learn form yesterday, don't try to relive it. Can't predict tomorrow, so the obvious is to live for today! Enjoy yours!

Right on target. If we don't learn..well you know what they say. We do the things we do today because we hope to make tomorrow better.  Good stuff, Lou!

So true focus on what you can control or influence. Let go of what you can't control. From my experience most folks focus on what they can't control and get themselves all stressed out and lose sight of their desired end results.

A perfect choice as we head into the end of this crazy year and we get ready to face the new one with a changing market.  Thanks for digging into Lou's wealth of wisdom.
