The Trust Triangle
Let’s say you and I have been in a real estate transaction and I was your agent. It went well even after overcoming some minor hiccups and
surmountable obstacles.
You won the home you really wanted and you have confidence in my abilities.
Trust means that you know I will be there for you. Trust means you know that I have you covered. And trust means that we have weathered the storm, you and I. We have come through it and we are still friends and if needed, we would do it again because you can rely on my abilities.
Of course, you have been singing my praises, and a friend of yours needs real estate assistance.
You have given me a referral! That requires even more trust, if you can quantify it. Another person has been added and we have the trust triangle.. You have to believe that I will perform my duties again with honesty and integrity. You have delivered to me, someone who is trusting you to refer someone for their need.
When you realize the amount of trust and faith one must have in the referral process....it is truly a supreme compliment.
I am humbled by your trust in me and I will do all in my power to be worthy of it!
I have a tag line in my email signature that says, “... thank you for your trust in me.” It is not a glib statement, it is sincere and I really mean it.
This post is a submission to the ActiveRain / Adobe EchoSign Trust Contest. I could possibly win a prize. You can find out about the contest by clicking here
