CLEAN EATING!! KNOW WHAT'S ON YOUR PLATE..IT'S THAT CLEAN!!
I've been trying to eat more organic, eliminate processed foods..basically "Eat Clean" I must admit, it's not that easy. I read articles, do research online, ask for advice and put it into action.
Working out five times a week, an hour a day makes me feel great but exercising is only 20% of what works to feel good and be healthy. Other 80% is what we put in our mouths on a daily basis. I've been TRYING to eat clean the past four months, buy organic, grass fed meat, eat six times a day and drink LOTS of water and I've lost 9 pounds and feel more energetic and better than I ever did.
Here's a typical day's menu for me:
-One whole egg and egg white from the second egg with spinach, cooked in coconut oil, 4 glasses of water and black coffee
-Greek yogurt with blueberries for snack
-Salad and tuna for lunch
-Fruit for snack and raw almonds
-Fish or grilled chicken breast with salad
-Berries for snack
I find myself eating more and season my food with fresh herbs which gives it a great taste. It's never too late to start eating better..try it..you will see the results..I HAVE!!
