I Saw Red

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with MoonDancer Realty, Dillsboro,NC NC# 218097

Sure, I saw red but I wasn’t mad or anything. In fact, I celebrated the fact that it was the first color I’d seen in the sky except grey for almost a week! Since this happened in the morning I knew we’d be in for some rain later but I enjoyed it while I could.

One of my favorite things about living here in Balsam, NC is that from day to day, the scenery never looks the same. That’s one of the pleasurable parts of buying real estate in the mountains. Your daily drive never gets dull!

I could tell after reading two sentences that you're not in Sunny California.  Glad you finally had a chance to see OUR sunlight.  ;-)

Mona: I didn't know red in the sky meant rain. Glad to see the skies are a little clearer. The slide show is really neat! Subtle, but it keeps you engaged.

Hello Mona,

I love the slide show. Now if I could figure out how to do that with my inspection shots.

It would be a cool addition to my posts as well as my web site. I don't have the techie skills yet. LOL

Have a great day in Sylva North Carolina.

Best, Clint McKie

ps, thanks again for the help.

Joyce, the colors took me by surprise...it's been so grey out.

Hi Tim, it was fun for me too!

Gracias Gary, I'm glad you enjoyed the scenery.

Donald, these are what I looked at before turning in too.  Now, it's 16 degrees and snowing outside.

Hi Cameron, I've lived in Sunny California and this isn't it.  There's a few days every year that I think a trip to FL or CA would be nice.  I really love it here though.

Anne? really?  Red sky at night, sailor's delight...red sky at morning, sailors take warning?  I'm a font of information lol.

Clint...that is one good looking photo!  You so have the tech savvy to do those slide shows.  Make sure you fork out the $24 for Picnik and from the home page click on the tab at the far right.  Easy as pie, but don't tell anyone...they think I'm a genius.  You call me if you want to get walked through anything.

Myrl, I just noticed this evening that the sky was red but I didn't have the camera with me.

Thanks Chris!  We don't see these colors all the time but sure do like it when we do.
