Make sure to catch  "Miss Electricity" as it debuts at the Studio 3 Theatre for Young Audiences. Ten-year-old Violet is determined to show the world, not to mention the cool kids at school, just how special she is. With the help of her assistant Freddy she sets out to break a world record, but becomes accidentally extraordinary when she's struck by lightning -- twice -- and gains control over all things electric. What they eat, who eats them and what kind of courtship they have? The answers are all bizarre and surprising. Capitol Steps: Don't miss this beloved group of political satirists' return to McLean. Since they began, the Capitol Steps have recorded over 30 albums, including their latest, "Desperate Housemembers." Second Saturday Art Walk: Showcasing the diverse work of more than 100 visual artists in a unique historic venue, creating an atmosphere that encourages visitors to immerse themselves in the richness of this creative community. Celebrate the legacy of Dr. King at the Ninth Annual McLean Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration. The event will include performances by the renowned Richmond Boys Choir and the exciting Pan Afrikan Drill dance performing company, Taratibu Youth Association. A reception will follow in the Community Hall. Guest speaker is Dr. Ed Jackson, executive architect of the Martin Luther King Jr. National Memorial Foundation Project, Inc. 3 to 5 p.m. McLean Community Center. $5/adults, $3/children 10 and under.  Tickets for the celebration are available at The McLean Community Center's Alden Theatre Box Office.
