I Work For Bandits

I bought this 99 cent cup of coffee with a credit card. When I returned home from work last night there was eleven bucks in the old wallet. My mistake was leaving the wallet in the living room...

Friday is "Canteen Day" at my daughters' school. For one glorious day, students are spared the trauma of school lunch IF they have some cash.

In their defense I'm sure they thought they were doing me a favor. After all, dad pulled yet another long day at the office. Why wake him to ask for a mere dollar or two? By the time daughter number four took "a dollar or two" poor dad was left with no coffee money. Thank goodness for VISA and a cool dude at the coffee shop.

My memory will not allow me to be mad. Back in the 1980's I made a nice living running may father's wallet. What goes around comes around in this life. My hope is one day each of the daughters have little purse bandits of their own. In this life my greatest joy comes from working for little bandits.

Doug--Kids are fun and grandkids are twice, triple the fun.  Enjoy each day and look forward to more to come.  It's even harder to say no to a grandchild.
