I must confess I had no idea what Weltanschauung meant.  Upon doing some research, I found some compelling reasons as to why Active Rain is the awesome community it is.  The guiding principles and philosophies are based on the members and the respect we convey to one another. 

Yes, trust and respect are a huge part of Active Rain.  Here you can participate in discussions about all types of things without malice or contempt.  Here you can rant or vent about issues in your life.  Here you can gain the support of a whole community for a cause or an event.  Here you are a part of the community.

 Principle number one states:
