Ventura County’s 26th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day
The holiday celebration will begin with a Freedom March at 8 a.m. from Plaza
Park at C and Fifth streets in Oxnard that will go to the performing arts center, 800 Hobson Way.
The program, which will cost $6 and begin at 9 a.m., will include a keynote speech by Oxnard Police Chief Jeri Williams.
There will be the Youth Choir, which will perform spiritual songs at the Oxnard Performing Arts Center after a Martin Luther King Jr. Day march. The choir will be conducted by Janetta Nix.
