FREE Bike Registration in Oxnard
The Oxnard Police Department is offering free bicycle registration.
People who want to register bikes can bring them to the front counter at the department at 251 South C St. from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays, officials said.
Registrants should be ready to provide information including the bicycle's make, model, serial number, type, color, wheel size and frame size, officials said.
Police encourage registration so bicycles can be returned more quickly after being lost or stolen.

Sandy - sounds like a great local project. In Australia my disability scooter even had a licence plate (I suspect for use if I got scrunched)

Well worth the 5 minutes if it means getting your bike back quickly if it is ever stolen and hopefully puts someone in jail if they police find it.
