Speechless Sunday - Full Moon Setting
I took this photo this last week while the moon was full. It's actually in the morning, just after I dropped one of our sons off at school, so it is just before the moon set behind the mountains. I also love the silhouette of bare branches against a dark sky just starting to brighten.
Great shot, I have wanted to get a full moon picture myself. There have been a few great moon shots in the morning as I am walking my dogs, but I never have my camera!

I've never been able to get it to come out that well. Mine are always over exposed. and washed out.
Gretchen and Mel -- Awesome shot. I tried to get some moon shots the other night, actually about 4 in the morning, because the sky was so incredibly lit up, but my shots came out way too dark. Was too tired to try to play with the settings and make it work.

We have had some cloud cover lately and the moon is still "up" on the way to school. I get to explain to my youngest that often the moon is still up you just can't see it because of the sun.
Gorgeous full moon. I have never been lucky enough to take a picture like this one. My camera just doesn't work that well (smile).
