By

FHA has waived its anti-flip rule through the end of the year.  What does this mean?  Well to investors it means that under FHA financing, investors can purchase and instantly flip the properties without having to sit on them for months and years.  See more information in the article provided. THE MYSTERY MAN

Jennifer,

Flipping is a small part of the reason for the housing debacle causing prices to escalate to the point where they just toppled like a stack of dominoes. Now at this point many of those depreciated homes have been bought by investors looking to turn a profit. I have already come across some of those homes when showing properties to regular buyers. Right now, the flipping rule will probably help the market and drive prices back up again. This will be a good thing for the market and regular home sellers. Hopefully though, they will keep an eye on it and shut it down once things stabilize. We don't need another market where prices rise out of control again...Wayne
