Nancy, I'm sure the Phoenix Open will be a wonderful event - and bring substantial benefit to the community.  Alas, we'll be watching it on TV!  After looking at the snow outside I can hardly believe I was golfing last week! ;-)

Hi Nancy, I hope you find time to go to this great event. It is probably the quietest sport !!

Hi Karen, the Phoenix Open has a great sponsor in Waster Management, (not the sexiest name), this year the goal is for the entire event to be recyclable, everything from food scraps becoming compost to drink cups and plates becoming new products. It usually rains whatever week we have it so cross your fingers and hope for sunshine. Thanks for stopping by.

Irene, yes it is a quiet sport however The Phoenix Open has a reputation for being the rowdiest stop on the PGA tour. The gallery is very close to the players and somewhat vocal. One of the reasons Tiger won't play the Phoenix Open anymore. Love your location Highland Beach, it doesn't get any better than that, amazing beach with some of the most beautiful homes on the east coast.

I'm crossing my fingers and toes hoping you will have wonderful weather for the Phoenix Open, Nancy - and I love that it is a completely 'recyclable' event.  It's a great way for the major sponsor to help make the world a little bit better.  And "green" REALTORS really love sustainability and conservation! :-)
