Recap for Week 2 of 2012 with Update on Yazmine

The December Posting Challenge kept many of us in touch and I am continuing with a recap each week. This is for week two of 2012.

My office manager Yazmine (a Siamese and great friend) has developed severe kidney problems and many of you have asked me to continue updates.

All the prayers and thoughts from everyone here in the Rain seem to be helping. Yazmine had a good week. She has her good days and some that are not so good. She seems more alert each day and gradually her strength is building but she is still skin and bones. I prepare her special meal (heated & buttered turkey slices) and I have been feeding her the supplement from the veterinarian. I think she hates the eyedropper almost as much as the needle for her subQ injections. And with all this she does not seem to be suffering and still likes to cuddle. We both thank all of you for your support.

As part of my plan to build my referral and really get to know others in the Rain I decided to start calling other members. I wrote a post titled Call Two Each Day in the Rain (Wow - it even got a feature) and started calling. I have really enjoyed talking to other members although due to the holiday I am a couple of calls behind. I better catch up this week. I've learned a lot more about some members and I've had a chance to explain my niche which is specializing in referrals to Latin America.
