I don’t Know what My Client looks like, but I Like Him

Even When You Know you’ve done a good job, Complements Still Feel Good.

(inserted pic is Rea, our 3rd girl -wants to be a Realtor when she grows up)

my heroHeather and I have been working with an out of state buyer. Polk never visited the cabin; he hired a home inspector and had his son look at the property for him. I don not know what my Client looks like, but I like him. The sales price was a quarter of the average sales price of our brokerage, yet we treated our Client with the same care and respect as we would have in a million dollar transaction.

When the property closed I sent him this email:

Polk,

The deed was recorded on Friday. It is your cabin now.

Thank you very much for the business! We have appreciated working with you and would love to get your feedback on how it was to work with us.

Please stop in and say Hi when you come to Teton Valley to visit.

Cheers

Harley

His Response:

"Dear Harley,

Thank you so very much! Frankly, I feel like we took advantage of you and Heather. You have gone way beyond the call of duty in helping us put this deal together. We are VERY pleased! Knox is ecstatic, and he is not one to show his emotions!

We are hoping to be out your way in August and look forward to seeing you then.

Thanks again for a job well done,

Blessings,"

Polk

A moving experience!

That's a nice testimonial... and a cute realtor-in-training.

Hey Rob - besides just not knowing how to handle Clients or Customer any other way: 1. who knows what referrals will come of these happy buyers. 2. i believe in karma. 3. every closing helps. !!!!!!

Hi Alan - Our Realtor-in-T is selling girl scout cookies right now. She loves it! Her older sisters don't want nothing to do with our business. Rea wants to take over when we retire (of course she is only 10 now).

Great testimonial!  And your daughter is darling!  My daughter is 18 now, she doesn't ride anymore.  I miss those days.

Hey Catherine, I too have an 18 yr old as well as well as the two younger girls. Our 18 yr old wants to ride only when someone is watching. Riding is a big part of our lives.
