Joe is Coming.....

Made you look. :)

Being from California, I am a HUGE fan of Trader Joe's market.  They have great product and a great atmosphere.  Each and every-time I go home to California, I end up in one of their stores.  No, not for $2 Chuck, (although that is not bad) They have extremely high quality food.

When I am back home it is nothing for my aunt, uncle and I do hit Trader Joe's for some quick snacks, head to the beach and have a picnic.  They have items specific to them, and my family always says, "why don't you just get it at Trader Joe's back home", to which I respond, ummmm we don't have one in Colorado.

Well, that is ending.

It Came across the news wires last night that Trader Joe's has applied with the State of Colorado to do business here in the Centennial state.  Awesome.  Sounds like 3 in the Denver Metro area, and one in Boulder.  Great move.  I feel that Colorado will embrace this store with open arms!  And, by the look of what I am seeing on posts and likes on Facebook, I am not alone.

I have heard the argument that we don't need a Trader Joe's when we have Sprouts and Whole Foods in Colorado.

 I beg to differ.

Variety is always good and competition is even better. If this will keep not only Sprouts and Whole foods on top of their game, but also challenge the big dogs, Safeway, King Soopers and Albertsons, not to mention Super Walmart and Super Target to provide better offerings to all, this is a great thing.

I am so looking forward to at least having the opportunity to get into a Trader Joe's here in Colorado.

It's about time!

I guess they are branching out quite a bit because they are finally coming to North Texas also.

I love Trader Joe's!  The closest one to me is about 20 minutes away and I wish they would just put one right in my town!  I can't live without their Tuscan bread.

I lived in Seattle for 30 years and LOVE Trader Joes.  Sadly they are not currently in Utah :(

John,  That is awesome.  I bet they are starting to take their share of the market.  Have you ever been to one?

Peggy, you are so right.  That bread is awesome.  But to be honest,  all of  their food is great.

Lesly, that is cool.  I am sure they will make up any loss from that with a close location.  Everytime I go there it is packed.

Deven, that is why I am glad to finally have them in the state.  Great new option

Corey, Maybe they will open some in Utah soon.  I did hear that Good Times is looking at the Utah market.  Don't know if that is fact, but I know a lot of people here that would bombard that place

Kerrie,

Thanks for the reply.  They do rock.  Their cookies, chocolate espresso beans, etc are off the hook.

Hey Brandon, I agree, it's great to have them coming. I visited their stores in Seattle a lot. Hope they place on in Colorado Springs.

I try to get out to California as much as possible and hear about this all the time. Never tried 2buck chuck but if they open here I will be going to get the experience and see how that $2 bottle of wine tastes (lol) Hard to beleive it will be anything but vinegar but at $2 its worth the try.

Thanks for the post

Tom,

How are you?  I would not be surprized if at some point they do, but starting in Boulder is so wise.

David,

The $2 Chuck is good, but the rest of the store is absolutely awesome.  Everything about it.  You will love it.
