(When there's nothing to do)

1. Add names to your mailing list

2. Address open house invitations

3. Call a "FSBO" in your neighborhood

4. Call a friend or client and ask for referrals

5. Check newspapers for new information

6. Clean out your desk, and yes, throw away that junk

7. Get your sales aids in order

8. Look over your prospect list

9. Phone and confirm weekly appointments

10. Read a book or article on sales techniques

11. Read up on new listings

12. Review closing dialogues and overcoming objection scripts

13. Review your last sale...ask yourself how to improve

14. Review your sales goals

15. Send out Thank You letters for those referrals

16. Send prospecting letters to companies

17. Set up speaking engagements at clubs and organizations

18. Spend 5 to 15 minutes just thinking

19. Submit new listings to old clients

20. Write out a schedule for tomorrow's activities

21. Write that open house ad for the paper
