somethings stirrin...real estate does not sleep

By
Real Estate Agent with Property In Santa Cruz

It is the time of year most of us try to take some time off, and most everybody does in the non-sales world. Big companies close for weeks and those of us in real estate dodge the county closing times for recordings and title company days off. We reflect on the business we have and how things went when we have time to reflect. Some of us are stirring, trying to find the property that is right for a client- nice Christmas present for all.

As I sit on this overcast/ rainy day look out over the ocean,my thoughts are stirring of what will I do differently with my web presence. What functionality will be more helpful to me and ultimately to the consumer who will use my site in many cases before they use me? How am I perceived, web wise will be something to work on.

In these holidays I will get to enjoy my fill of the football games and get a chance to reflect on the ideas of what will make my real estate life easier.I will sit around master of the remote as my wife will be bed bound from an operation. I get to exert a modicum of viewing gluttony and lay around flippin channels, having a few beers and perusing the menus of what to cook for dinner.

What ideas or investments in real estate will I make to improve my return and have less management headache. I am a firm beliver in quality. Quality locations, quality transactions, quality clients and tenants.

This will be the time of year to ruminate, relax with friends and family and be appreciative of all the good things in my life. We as Americans have a lot to be thankful for. We often bitch with our mouthfull. At least I get out and vote and have some sense of having a say. Many I think feel powerless and opt out of trying. It does take time and effort to be informed. Much like it takes time to make a home cooked meal, the results are better, though slower, than a fast food no effort or nutrition approach.

Have a great holiday season.
