Then and now............

Yes, I do love it here on the 'Rain.  But just a reminder to get off your butts and socialize too!

We still work in a people-oriented business!  And make sure you and your children stay active off the computer as well.

All the best,

Hi Ralph - This is way too true!  It can become way too easy to spend the day in front of the computer, and we all need to make a point to get out there!  Social media can become anti-social if we let it.

When I saw the top one, I thought "it's no wonder that people are so fat." If you do not even ove to pick up the phone or walk to the tv, how are you going to get any exercise? Thanks for sharing.

Ralph, great reminders that connecting with people physically should never be replaced with cyber friendships and relationships. I do not minimize the value of these relationships, but I never want them to totally replace them.

HAHAHAHA! This is so true! I am constantly out with people and doing things and trying to teach my 14 yr old to do the same. The computer is a tool, not a destination! :)

As a copywriter who almost never meets clients in person (because they almost all live in other time zones) I spend way too much time in front of the computer, especially in winter.

Thank goodness for my garden, and thank goodness for an office in the basement. I have to run up the stairs every time the dogs start barking and every time I need a cup of coffee.

Cute post with good message.  Times certainly have changed haven't they, for the better?  Not always.

Where ever did you find such an honest collection of cartoons all depicting the same phenomenon?

Good reminder to get out and remain social!  We are in the people business and there's no getting around that.  But when the people we like aren't so easy to get to, we do have another option.  Cute post Ralph!!
