A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for New York City Saturday Jan 21st, 2012 from 1 am to 4 pm, three to five inches of snow has been forcast. Here are some helpful snow removal tips

Snow Removal Safety Tips

Warm up your body by stretching before you go out to shovel.
Use a scarf to cover your mouth to protect your lungs from extremely cold air.
Take frequent breaks.
Keep dry.
Keep fire hydrants free of snow

Down here in Lancaster Pennsylvania we're hoping the bulk of the storm passes just beyond us. Fortunately I have my grand kids here for the weekend. They won't like it, but shoveling is good experience for them. :) At least I think so.
