Friday's Fotos - Encased in Ice
Even devestating ice storms have their silver lining, in this case the almost surreal vistas left in their wake. Hood River and Parkdale, Oregon, have experienced freezing rain for two straight days... as the rain falls, it freezes almost instantly to whatever it lands on, encasing everything in thick, but pretty ice. The flip side is innumerable broken trees and powerlines all over the valley and the weather forecast shows no break in the fun.
